Wellness Carnival 2018 @ Tampines
Small gestures, Big Impact!

“Small gestures, Big Impact!” - was the tagline for Wellness Carnival 2018. Mr Baey Yam Keng (Senior Parliamentary Secretary, Ministry of Transport & Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth, Member of Parliament for Tampines GRC) reiterated to his fellow residents that every one of us can support each other and amplify our efforts in building a healthy and caring home and society where we can gain new perspectives on how healthy living can be fun for all and that organ donation and transplantation no longer remain as an unfamiliar topic. Over 5,000 residents visited the carnival and gained insights through 13 partner organisations present at the carnival.

Mr Baey Yam Keng graced Wellness Carnival as the Guest of Honour.

Father-son bonding in action! Trying out the archery game brought in by our carnival partner - ActiveSG.

Our favourite New Chords Band with our transplant recipients performing many classic pop songs.

Upsized snake & ladder! This game reflected the journey of an organ failure patient who eventually gained a second chance in life to start afresh with a transplant.

Checking out the various simulations activity at Youth Corps Singapore’s booth.

Ever wondered what is it like to play a game of basketball with a pair of frosted glasses? Singapore National Eye Centre presented an experiential simulation to help residents understand what happens when a person’s cornea fails.

Kids @ play! Overcoming all the obstacles, one step at a time.

One of our lucky draw winners! Congratulations!
