Functioning as filters, the kidneys serve to remove waste from the human body. By picking out red beans from an assortment of beans, these students learnt about the importance of the function of kidneys and the need to protect them

Information booths were also present to explain to students about the benefits of organ donation and transplantation. Booths from transplant partners and National Kidney Foundation provided information on how to stay healthy and also on the treatment options should one’s organs fail.
